The first leg of the UEFA Champions league round of 16 will continue tonight with Manchester United traveling to Spain to face Atletico Madrid while Ajax will be hosted by Benfica in Portugal.

Although, tonight's UEFA Champions league will be tough for the teams involved, but for 2 players, it will be a memorable one for them. The reason is that they will face the clubs where they started that playing careers in the youth level till they got promoted to the Senior level. These two players are: Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea and Benfica's center back Jan Vertonghen.

David De Gea started up his playing career from the youth set up of Atletico Madrid in 2003. He played for all the levels of Atletico Madrid's youth set up and became a regular in the main team. However, Manchester United signed him up in 2011.

Jan Vertonghen played for the youth rank of Dutch club side, Ajax from 2003 to 2006. He got elevated to the senior team in 2006. He played for Ajax till 2012 before leaving the club to join Tottenham Hotspur. He spent 8 years at the English Premier league club before joining Benfica in 2020. He will now face his old team.
