Chelsea are set to take on ASC Lille later today in an attempt to defend their Champions League trophy. The Blues believes they have what it takes to win the title for the third time and a second time running. Thomas Tuchel has seen his team already bag two international trophies so far this season.
They have however been struggling to register positive results since two of their key defenders suffered long injuries. Ben Chillwell is one of their most important players and he will again miss todays clash. The defender is yet to recover from his knee injury.
Another absentee will be Reece James. James suffered a thigh injury a while back and he is set to be sidelined from action again. Mason Mount or Money Mace is likely to miss the game due to an ankle injury.
Cesar Azipulicueta and Callum Hudson Odoi are also very likely to miss the game due to injuries. Thomas Tuchel can however rely on Romelu Lukaku and Kai Hervatz to do the job
