Arsenal are aware that a striker will be needed after the end of the season following Aubameyang's exit to Spanish giants Barcelona and possible run out of Alexandre Lacazette's contract.
The Spanish boss Mikel Arteta was hoping to land his dream signings the previous transfer window but the board failed to back him up and therefore a summer transfer battle will arguably be a great opportunity to work on his signings.
According to SportBild, the Gunners are close to agreeing a £72m rated deal that will see the Argentinian international Lautaro Martinez land at Emirates and not at White Hart Lane as tipped.
It should be noted that the North London club are readying a bigger offer for inter Milan striker who's as well viewed as a perfect Harry Kane replacement by Tottenham Hotspurs board.
Ideally, Lautaro might be a good addition of power into the final third of Arsenal and apparently Arteta has to fasten up the process ahead of rivals.
Lastly in your opinion, Do you think Martinez will be a good summer deal for Arsenal?
