Puig does have offers from across European clubs to join and become a significant player, even in the short term. It might also help him secure a contract renewal at Barça, for his current one expires in 2023.
Either way, Barça have a lot of confidence in the midfielder, but chances are far and few in between for him right now. Experience in a foreign land could help him broaden his horizons.
