Over the last years, Premier League giants Manchester United have managed to secure some of the best talents from Portugal including now five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lui Nani, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot among others and hence, the Ralf Rangnick's side seems to still have unfinished business with the Portuguese clubs.

According to reports from Record Portugal, the Red half of Manchester are keeping close tabs on Sporting Lisbon promising defensive midfielder, Joao Palhinha after the 26 year old's impressive performances for the Lions in the past few seasons and could look to make a €30million bid to secure his signature in the summer.

However, it is understood that the Red Devils are not the only club in the race to sign the promising midfielder with Premier League trio Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester City as well as Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga side, Atletico Madrid also eyeing a potential deal for him.
