Premier League club Manchester United is yet to win a trophy since the 2016/2017 season when they were successful in the Europa League.

Manchester United manager by then Jose Mourinho won the UEFA Europa League trophy and the team has never come close to winning as silverware. Last season the side was successful in both the Premier League and also in Europe but they couldn't end the season with a trophy.

They were in the final of UEFA Europa League under Norwegian tactician Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and they also finished second behind Pep Guardiola's men in the Premier League.

The team has shown great improvement in the team and they could do better in the coming seasons if they continue improving. They were struggling with having reliable goals scorers but have improved in recent years and currently have possibly some of the best goals scorers in the Premier League.

They have an electrifying frontline with both young talent and also experienced players who have been improving the team. However, Manchester United had never had a young reliable player who can fill the shoes of the club's great goal scorers.

The likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have both not been good at scoring goals. Moreover, there is one player who is going to be a great player at Old Trafford in the coming years.

The 18-year-old Swedish international Anthony Elanga has been amazing recently and he has been scoring goals for the team. Elanga has been reliable recently and he has scored 20 goals in the last two games helping the team in vital matches.

Rangnick has started giving him enough playing time and he has been doing well recently performing even better than Rashford. If Elanga will continue getting better he will end up as a club legend and he can contribute to great success in the future.
