Manchester United football club will most definitely be looking forward to finishing in the top four on the Premier League table by the end of the ongoing season.

The Old Trafford side have endured a rather difficult 2021/2022 season so far and are currently occupying the 4th position on the Premier League table.

Coupled with that, Manchester United have also struggled in other competitions so far this season as they have been knocked out of the English FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.

But now, Manchester United could be rocked with reports that young goalkeeper Dean Henderson could be on his way out of the club when the transfer window opens.

The 24-year-old England International, who joined the Manchester United academy in 2013 has struggled to break into the first-team squad over the previous previous.

The young shot-stopper was quite involved for Manchester United during the 2020/2021 season where he made 26 appearances in all competitions.

But then, Dean Henderson has been used sparingly at Manchester United so far this ongoing 2021/2022 season, recording just five appearances in total.

It is believed that Dean Henderson is disappointed with the lack of regular first-team football at Manchester United and according to reports from The Sun, he is eyeing a summer transfer move away from the club.

The reports further claimed that Dean Henderson is wanted by two Premier League clubs; Southampton and Newcastle United ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Sun also stated that Southampton are the favourites to secure a transfer move for him ahead of Newcastle United and Ajax who are also interested.

But then, it remains to be seen if Dean Henderson will be patient enough and wait for his opportunities at Manchester United or he will be on his way out to join a new club next summer.
