The race for Champions league qualification in the English Premier League is still very much alive with the likes of Manchester United, West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham all battling to secure a place in the top four by the end of the season.
But, despite their current form, Arsenal may not be able to keep up with the others in the race to secure qualification for Champions league next season because of a major problem.
Their squad depth.
Truth be told, Arsenal parades one of the youngest squad in the English Premier League at the moment. The likes of Saka, Martinelli, Ordegaard and Emile Smith Rowe are not up to 25 years old. These young players have been behind Arsenal's resurgence in the premier league. However, if any of them have injury, Arsenal will suffer for it.
One major area Arsenal will have challenges in, is the midfield. The likes of Lokonga and Elneny who are backups to Xhaka and Partey are not good enough to play against the best teams in the league.
Arteta will be hoping and praying that all his players should remain fit. Otherwise, things may not go well as planned.
What do you have to say about this? Do you think this should be a source of worry for the gunners?
