Several players were connected with Chelsea during the recent transfer window. The possibility of reuniting Ousmane Dembele with Thomas Tuchel, bringing Eden Hazard back to Stamford Bridge, and recalling Emerson from Lyon were all floated, but none of these transactions came to fruition.
Chelsea saw significant departures, as Lewis Baker was sold to Stoke City and Tino Anjorin was loaned to Huddersfield, but there were few notable additions to the Chelsea side. The Blues did recall Kenedy from his loan at Flamengo, but the Brazilian will see little first-team action for Thomas Tuchel's teams this season.
As things currently stand, Thomas Tuchel will begin the second half of the 2021/22 Season with a resumption of his campaign in the UEFA Champions League, a race to close the gap between Chelsea and Manchester City on the League table, the pursuit of the FA Cup, the EFL Cup finals against Liverpool, and the matter of the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates, and he'll have to do all of that without adding any new Players to his Squad.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, Edouard Mendy, and Marcus Bettinelli
Defenders
Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Malang Sarr, Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell, and Reece James are the players to watch.
Midfielders
N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovavic, Saul Niguez, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Ross Barkley are among the players
Forwards
Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Hakim Ziyech, and Kenedy are among the players on the team.
Chelsea's 26-man squad for the rest of the season included three goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards.
