UEFA Champions League knockout football returns to Stamford Bridge tonight as champions of France - Lille, visit the world champions - Chelsea, for the first leg of their round of 16 tie.

Ever since the draws were revealed, this fixture has been written off as a favorable one for Chelsea. However, the blues should be wise not to underestimate their opponents because they have what it takes to cause an upset.

The danger man for Lille tonight will be Canadian forward - Jonathan David.

The 22-year-old striker (born 14 January, 2000) moved to Lille from Belgian side Gent two seasons ago and has established himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in France since then.

After firing Lille to a shock league triumph over PSG in his debut season, the Canadian carried his fine form into this season - notably firing his team to a 1st place finish in a Champions League group that had Sevilla, Salzburg and Wolfsburg. He has 16 goals this season and 29 goals overall in his short time at Lille.

Jonathan David has been attracting the interest of top clubs all over Europe with his goalscoring output. Reports suggest that a fee of in the region of €45M would be enough to snatch him from Lille. Chelsea are one of the teams eying the young striker, however a move would be dependant on the exit of either Romelu Lukaku or Timo Werner in the summer. Other interested suitors include PSG, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle.

Although he is yet to score for the club since late December, Jonathan David is the big threat tonight for Chelsea to watch out for.
