Chelsea would be going into tonight's clash with a boost following their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday. On the other hand, Lille would be looking to get back to winning ways following their goalless draw against Metz, on Friday.
Ahead of tonight's match, Tuchel spoke to press where he said that Lille shouldn't be written off as they have the chance to play the game as underdogs.
He Said: “They were very competitive when I was in Paris. They were a strong and very emotional group, never easy to play against in their stadium. The quality of the coach was exceptional, and you could tell they had the quality to fight high up the table.
They might not be in their best form at the moment, we still all know how physical French football is, how physical the attacking players are, how brave they are in one-on-one situation. With that being said, they have the chance to play this game as underdogs”.
